Enable Outlook XP to minimize to the System tray as older versions did.
Navigate the the location below in your registry.
Create a new REG_DWORD value named MinToTray and set the value to 1. Next time you restart Outlook XP it will minimize to the system tray instead of the Taskbar.

Value Name: MinToTray
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Data: (0 = Taskbar, 1 = Systray)
