Navigate the the location below in your registry and
make the corresponding change.
Create a new string value called "NodeType" and set it to either 1, 2, 4, or 8.
1 = b-node
2 = p-node
4 = m-node
8 = h-node
This value can also be specified using DHCP.
Restart Windows.

Data Type: REG_SZ
Data:1, 2, 4, or 8
