Personally, I am annoyed that whenever I print a page from Internet Explorer, there is always a header that says the page title and page X of X.  Then at the bottom of every page the URL and date is printed.  If you would like to remove or modify the text that is printed in the header and footer use the chart below.

Entered Text: Result:
&w Windows Title
&u URL
&d Date in short format
&D Date in long format
&t Time in the format specified by regional settings in the Control Panel
&T Time in 24-hour format
&p Current page number
&P Total number of pages
&& A Single "&"
&b The text immediately following this character is centered.
&b&b The text immediately following the first "&b" is centered, while the text following the second is right-justified.

Keep in mind that you can enter any characters in both the header and footer fields.  For instance, if you wanted to print this page and have the header say:

"Customize IE printed page" http://www.mydesktophelp.com/tips/ie43.php (Page 1 of 1) 16:32:02 PM

Use the following text in the header text box:

"&w" &u (Page &p of &P) &T
