Your modem sometimes suddenly disconnects for no real reason-- now you can stop it and fight back!
Open Control Panel and select Modems, select your modem
and click on Properties. Find the Connection tab, and click the advanced button.
Enter S10=50 in the "Extra Settings" section.
The number following S10= is the length in milliseconds that the modem will stay
connected without a carrier.
