Make the Modem Dial Faster

Open Control Panel and select Modems, select your modem and click on Properties. Find the Connection tab, and click the advanced button.

Enter S11=40 in the "Extra Settings" section.

The number following S11= is the length in milliseconds that the modem plays each touch tone.
