It sounds like your wireless NIC may have died on you then.  Many of them are replaceable, normally by removing a panel off the bottom of the laptop.  If you can't find a replacement, you could always just get a USB wireless card as well. They are pretty cheap and can be found most everywhere.

I'd double check the docs first, make sure that the radio is turned on.  It could be disabled in the bios, although that normally doesn't happen by accident.  Also if I remember right, there should be a button with "Fn" on it that you can hold and press the wireless button that is the same color.  Normally its one of the F keys or number keys, but it should look like a wireless signal.  Just because the card itself is enabled, doesn't mean that software hasn't turned the radio off.

Great idea I'll go to Starbucks tomorrow but I have noticed it says the Dell wireless is not connected and when I click on it it says windows cannot repair this problem.

It could be a couple things.  Some laptops have a funtion button that disables the radio which would prevent you from seeing any networks.  In addition, it could be your router could have lost its configuration and is no longer broadcasting your wireless network.

Check the docs of your laptop and see what the key seq is to enable/disable the radio.  Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I know I've seen some IBM laptops that just have a switch on the front which is pretty easy to bump.  Once you know that the radio is actually turned on, maybe one of the quickest ways to find out if it is the laptop or router would be to swing by starbucks or any of the millions of other places that have free wifi and see if you can see any wireless networks there.

For the past few days I have been unable to use my laptop with wi fi it works OK with the cable plugged in I thought at first it was my broadband connection  but my ISP went into it and also accessed my computer to check everything, but when I try and connect to the WI FI it says windows can't find any network.
They said it might be the button not working but why would it suddenly go wrong? Is there anything I can try or do I need to get it repaired?  Sad

Adobe photodeluxe business edition 1.1 is on a HP Scanning Software CD  -  6300C Series.  I have the disc and
still use this program.  The disc is orange on the top and the rest is royal blue.  Try to find just the CD.
I think I saw it earlier for download but can't find the site again.  Good Luck  -  I use this EVERYDAY.
