my computer is a intel pentium 4, 2.4ghz processor, 512DDR RAM, 128 geforce 4 440 graphics card and 80 gig hard drive. ive got windows XP proffesional and i have blueyonder broadband. as you can see my computer is pretty quick, but a while ago my computer started locking up for no apparent reason at all, i mean the only thing you can do is hit the re-set button, ctrl alt delete does nothing and the mouse doesnt move. i know a fair bit about computers so i re-installed XP and installed all the drivers etc and thought that would cure the problem but it still does it, not so much but every now and then it will do it. sometimes when im just scrolling down my files, or on the net, even when my broadband is turned off it happens. i went on the Nvidia site and downloaded the latest XP driver because i thought it could be the graphics card because once or twice ive had an error message saying something about a problem with the graphics card. but im really stuck. any ideas what so ever? plz plz plz help! thank you for reading. nik
