Many thanks for the prompt response. The router is acting as the DHCP server and it goes out to a LAN of 10 PCs. In addition I have a box called a netpilot that acts as a firewall and mail server to the small LAN. I need to add in a new entry to the whitelist for URL filtering. It is a 6 hr drive accross Germany and I had hoped I would be able to find it's IP address from here and then telnet out of the router into it. Chris
