Just because you have the router on the same network doesn't mean that they are all passing data through the router. Therefore the router would probably not be the place to look for valid IP's that have not been leased. Either you need to check the DHCP server, it will have a list of leased addresses. If you can't get to the DHCP server you can just download an IP scanner and tell it to scan your subnet and see how many live IP's you have. This is all under the assumption that you are not running the DHCP server on the router, if this is incorrect, let us know.
