Try going into "Add\Remove Programs" in the control panel, find IE and and do a repair install. Under some circumstances you will not hoave IE listed, if that is the case goto program files\Internet Explorer and try right clicking on the file "fixie.inf" and select Install from the popup menu. Again, if that doesn't work, just download the installer for IE again from Microsoft and reinstall.
