My question is a two-fold question. First we have a sub-tenant's network next to ours sharing a single T1 with a Cisco Pix firewall both running its own Exchange email. Both networks are sending/receiving email and cruising the Internet just fine. First question is that I cannot ping or Citrix into one network from another which we need for cross file-transferring. Yet, when I go home, I can ping and Citrix both with no problem. Any ideas? Second question is that it is becoming more frequent that emails from one domain to the other is getting rejected. In other words, if I am at the office and send email from domain 1 to domain 2, sometimes the email will get the Exchange produced email saying "trying to send email for 1:18 hours; will keep trying for...". I suspect it may be related to question #2. Our ISP is doing the appropriate DNS pointing. So why is it that some emails are flowing okay whereas others are bouncing back?
