Where is the printer attached to? you should bare in mind that w9x OS are not all that compatible with XP. One of the reason is that W9x uses LANMANAGER for network authentification, and XP uses KERBEROS, which can cause problems. Now, as I understand it, you have problem with the XP side of things not 98. Do you run in a workgroup? do you use netbios or TCP IP on 98?
